Of course, when an opportunity to celebrate the Yorkshire Mafia’s two favourite things, business and Yorkshire, presents itself we couldn’t possibly let it pass us by without organising an extra special celebratory get together!

As we expected, our Yorkshire Mafia members didn’t disappoint and came out in force to celebrate Yorkshire Day in style at Blackhouse, The Grill on the Square in Leeds on 1st August. Joining us for a glass of fizz and some delicious canapes, including mini burgers in buns, there were lots of smiles and introductions taking place as the venue started to fill up.

Attracting almost three hundred professionals, the event, which is one of the largest drinks evening in our annual calendar, was the perfect opportunity for our Yorkshire wide network to come together after a hard day at the office to have a natter, share a drink or two and meet with like-minded business associates.

The weather was pleasant allowing people to stand outside, as well as gather around the bar and tables, which were set out to encourage members to get to know one another. With a buzzing atmosphere and lots of chatter, it was clear that people were meeting, sharing and learning – reinforcing the philosophy behind the YM, that we are stronger together.

Alice Marsh, Commercial Events Manager for the YM, comments: “It was great to see and meet so many members, both old and new, at the event. Getting the business community together at our events really reinforces the great network of businesses that we have in and around Leeds.”

Our Yorkshire Day event was sponsored by premium lead generation company, Elite Telemarketing Solutions. Nick Stringer, Managing Director, comments: “The event was a great success and we were really pleased with the range of businesses that attended and approached us about our business.

“With almost three hundred influential business people in a room, sponsoring the event was a no-brainer for us!”
