Zest Mixology Secures another Heavy Weight Client ready for 2019

Multi-award-winning company, Zest Mixology has announced it has secured two new lucrative contracts, including supplying premium pop-up cocktail bars, to one of the world’s biggest catering companies.

Levy Leisure (owned by Compass Group), which supplies catering at visitor and heritage attractions across the UK, has appointed Leeds-based Zest to supply pop-up cocktail bars, first class cocktail mixologists, and bespoke cocktail services across over 30 of its leisure ventures in the UK.

Zest founder and CEO, Murdo MacLeod, said: “We are delighted to build our relationship with Levy Leisure from 18 months to a point that we have now entered a powerful partnership and formalised the way we work together.

The contract with Levy Leisure lasts for three years and will see Zest provide cocktail services at events such asGlyndebourne, the world-famous opera festival, and visitor attractions including a string of famous museums.

A Zest director, account manager, five logistics staff, three event managers and nearly 50 mixologists will work on the Levy contract.

Separately, Zest has also agreed a 3 year supplier contract with the events management company The Live Group.

Zest will supply premium pop-up cocktail bars, first class cocktail mixologists and tailored cocktail services forThe Live Group business events across the UK & Europe which typically have between 250 and 300 guests.

A Zest director, account manager, five logistics staff, three event managers and 48 cocktail mixologists will work on the brief.

Zest Mixology was set up by MacLeod in 2011. Zest initially focused on providing an in-home cocktail servicefor “Come Dine With Me” style dinner parties. 

After delivering almost 300 home parties in their first year of operation, Zest soon moved into the corporate sector securing contracts for Lloyds TSB and Yorkshire Bank. 

The business also diversified into the music festival sector suppling VIP bars. To date, Zest has delivered over 6000 events to over one million even guests.
