The Sporting Social 2019

Supporting Jane Tomlinson Appeal

The Sporting Social is one of the standout events of Leeds’ year.

Big name stars including Olympic heptathlete Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield and top broadcaster Clare Balding are set to appear at the event at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on Friday 27th September.

The fantastic fun evening, which includes welcome drinks, all entertainment and a two-course meal devised and served by Leeds celebrity chef Matt Healy, will support the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and its work to support children and people living with cancer.

The evening starts with a drinks reception sponsored by Leeds Gin, with guests being served the exclusive Jane’s Gin.

Stars will then take to the stage for a Q&A with Clare Balding – and questions from the audience. Guests will then enjoy a two-course meal served by Matt Healy, chef patron of The Foundry in Leeds and star of the Masterchef: The Professionals.

After the meal, the games will begin! Guests can take on the red and yellow card game, hosted by former England and Leeds United defender Danny Mills (no stranger to a card or two on the pitch!) and then take part in a fast, furious and hilarious speed quiz. There’ll also be a raffle and auction with superb prizes.

Tickets are £65 per head, with tables of 10 discounted to £600.

They are available by clicking here. If you would prefer to be invoiced, contact Katie Bell via katie@janetomlinsonappeal.com or call 0113 826 7765.
