What is The Yorkshire Mafia?
The Yorkshire Mafia brings together Yorkshire business people, companies, events, jobs, opportunities, ideas, and discussions.
We cover all of Yorkshire business: employers, startups, scaleups, investors, corporate teams, vendors, service providers, professional services firms, universities, hubs, event organisers, and public sector bodies.
The network runs across the whole year. Ongoing activity, ours and our members', all in one place. People can follow what is happening, share updates, and take part.
It's open to anyone working in or around Yorkshire business. Individuals join. Companies take part. The activity comes from the people and organisations inside it.
Why?
Technology can be wonderful. But it's nothing without people. We're a Yorkshire business network. We meet to discuss all things business. But relationships still drive how everything gets done. Conversations matter. Time in the room matters. You matter.
The Yorkshire Mafia is built to make it easier to connect, meet, share and talk. The aim is simple. Make it easier for people in Yorkshire business to meet, stay connected and help to better promote the region's business communities.
There Are Three Parts to It
Members
Members are the individuals inside the network. They attend, contribute, stay connected, and build relationships over time. It's free to join as a member.
Company Members
Company Members are the companies inside the network. They can share updates, post jobs and events, and stay visible to the people they want to reach.
Sponsors
Sponsors share the platform with us. They have presence across it and take part in and shape the activity around it. Some may step into an advisory role and help steer the group.
Events
The Yorkshire Mafia runs events throughout the year. Running events all year round keeps us all connected outside of infrequent or annual larger events.
People attend to reconnect with established contacts and make great new connections outside their usual circle. Different companies, different roles. Different perspectives and insights into current information, hiring plans, funding, who is building what and so on.
They attend because they understand that new connections and repeated contact matter, now more than ever.

Company Members
The Companies directory lists the companies that have joined The Yorkshire Mafia. Each Company Member has a profile on the platform. Company Members can post jobs, publish relevant news/blog content, and list their own events.
This is how companies stay active in the network. Not just attending, but showing what they are doing and staying visible within the network. Pricing is based on company size.
